Relay for Life Walk - 28 and 29 October Blacktown International Athletics Centre

Just a reminder that the Relay for Life walk and 24 hour BBQ will take place at the Blacktown International Athletics Centre [Eastern Rd, Rooty Hill NSW 2766] on October 28 & 29.

As this is a joint effort between Districts 25, 25A and 26, could you please organise some brethren to man the BBQ over the hours from 07:00 AM on the 28th for setup through to clean up on the 29th at about 10:00 AM

I will also have a crew so we should be able to cover the whole time. Having members attend will not restrict them to cooking only, if they wish to walk a few laps to keep all walkers company that is allowed therefore keeping the Freemasons in the public eye for the whole 24 hours.

Please let me know the names and times that your members would like to participate.

Regards

RW Bro  Harry Griffiths PJGW

TAREE2017 - Grand Communication & Proclamation

The Manning River now. [Photo credit: http://manninggreatlakes.focusmag.com.au/martin-bridge-anniversary/]

An event not to be missed

The Quarterly Communication & Proclamation of the Grand Master, MW Bro Jamie Melville, will be taking place on Saturday, 16 September 2017 at the Taree Masonic Centre. The Proclamation Banquet will be held at Club Taree. Sunday breakfast will be held on the banks of the Manning River.

A separate booking is required for the Communication, Proclamation, Banquet and Sunday Breakfast. Booking will be essential for all four events. Situated at the centre of the Manning Valley, Taree is the ideal place to enjoy a great getaway.

The Manning Valley is just three and a half hours from Sydney and two and a half hours from Coffs Harbour. There you will experience a world where spectacular 45 kms of coastline and pristine beaches meet rustic countryside, with 9 stunning National Parks to explore - a destination where you can have the best of both worlds.

If you love retail therapy, there are also 26 seaside and hinterland towns and villages to explore, each with their own unique vibe and offerings.

Taree offers a great variety of shopping arcades, boutiques, crafts centres, antiques, art galleries and several cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Accommodation is also plentiful and range from camping sites to more sophisticated hotels.
